SPUP prof awarded RP’s outstanding business educator in Accountancy

Proving the exemplary competence of SPUP faculty members, Professor Giged Tong-Battung of the School of Accountancy and Business (SAB) received a citation from her colleagues in the business education sector.
In a letter sent to the University President, Sr. Remy Angela Junio, SPC, Dr. Ma. Flordeliza L. Anastacio, chairperson of the Search for Outstanding Business Educators, informed the University that Dr. Battung was chosen as the national winner in the field of Accountancy.
With her fellow awardees, Battung received her award during the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) National Convention on March 12, 2010, at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Intramuros, Manila.
The Search for Outstanding Business Educators is an annual event sponsored by the PCDEB, an organization where SPUP SAB Dean , Ms. Jocelyn Carag, is a director.
