Research asst. attends ZRP Planning Workshop

Dr. Emolyn Iringan, SPUP research assistant, attended the Zonal Research Program (ZRP) Planning Workshop held at St. Mary’s University, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, January 19-20, 2010.
The two-day event was organized by the Isabela State University Zonal Research Center(ZRC) and St. Mary University.
The activity aimed at: 1) reviewing the ZRP particularly on its priority research areas vis-à-vis the National Higher Education Research Agenda (NHERA) for Cagayan Valley and the Philippine Research Development Agenda (PRDA); 2) producing an annual plan and financial requirement for ZRC and Program Cluster Implementer (PCI) implementation for 2010; 3) assessing the Grants-in-Aid (GIA) projects under 2008 and 2009 budget; and 4) presenting the guidelines in the technical evaluation of GIA proposals and the implementation and monetary compensation of approved GIA proposals.
