St. Paul University Philippines and Providence University (PU) of Taichung, Taiwan, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last February 2, 2010, at the University Boardroom.

Signing the documents were Sister Remy Angela Junio, SPC, SPUP President, and Sister Editha Ben, SP, Coordinator/Project Manager of the Office of International Affairs of Providence University. Sr. Editha represented PU’s president.

The ceremonial signing was witnessed by the SPUP administrators, deans and directors.

In consonance with SPUP’s aim of providing international exposure to its students and faculty (to meet global standards), the partnership includes student, faculty and staff exchange, research activities, special short-term courses and academic programs.

With the concord, Providence University becomes the first Catholic University linkage in Taiwan.
