Ricardo M. Roxas II, an SPUP-Grade School (SPUP-GS) pupil, was declared champion in the Pasiklaban sa Paaralan (PSP) Caravan held at the SPUP High School Library last Jan. 28,2010.
At the end of the easy round, Roxas tied up with two other opponents registering a score of 30 points. In the average round, Roxas almost answered all the questions correctly, scoring an additional 90 points. In the difficult round, Roxas got five questions correctly.
Accumulating a score of 195 points and leaving his closest rival with an 85-point difference, Roxas was declared champion in the said event and is off for the PSP Caravan-Regional Level sometime in March.
“I am deeply happy for I have given honor to the Grade School Department,” Roxas said during an interview.
“I would like to thank Sir Enrique Garcia,” Roxas continued, “for choosing me to be the official participant of the Grade School in the competition and for coaching me even if he seemed to be very busy everytime.”
“Likewise, I would share my victory with Sister Edna, our Principal, for always believing in my capacity,” he concluded.
