Cagayanos hold Indignation Rally

TO EXPRESS RESENTMENT ON THE DESPICABLE, dastardly display of power and violence in Maguindanao, the Cagayan Alternative Media Organization and the Cagayan Alliance of Media Practitioners organized an indignation rally at the Rizal’s Park, Tuguegarao City, Nov. 25, 2009.
Hosted by the Secretary-General of the Cagayan Alliance of Media Practitioners, BOMBO Rogie Sending, the Indignation Rally was attended by mediamen, teachers, lawyers, students, police and AFP officers.
Media personalities from RBC Cable TV, DZYT, DZRH, DZCV, DWPE, DWGR Bombo Radyo, Philippine Information Agency and Philippine News Agency attended the rally. With their posters condemning the crime, several students and teachers from St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) and University of St. Louis also participated.
Atty. Domingo Cayosa of the Cagayan Alliance of Human Rights Lawyers & Advocates, Mr. Allan Peejay Lappay of SPUP, and 1st Lt. Robert Belandres of the AFP Alpha Company also joined the group by sharing their resentment on the cowardly act , which claimed 57 innocent lives, mainly women and journalists.
