Paulinians mourn Sr. Marcelle’s demise

Sister Marie Marcelle Navarro,SPC, is gone.
The well-loved Sister Marie Marcelle passed away at 86 last Saturday, September 26, 2009. Her remains lie at the University Chapel.
Tomorrow, September 29, Sister Marcelle’s remains will be brought to Manila. Interment will be on Wednesday at the Garden of Peace, Our Lady of Chartres Convent in Antipolo.
Sister Marcelle served as High School Principal in the 70s; Vice-President for Academics, Registrar, and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in the 80s and 90’s; and, Alumni Director from 2000 till her death.
St. Paul University Philippines celebrated the diamond jubilee of Sister Marcelle together with Sr. Lucienne on July 25,
2009.
