Holds Revalida and Graduation of DEpEd EXCELS Learners

The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization held the revalida and graduation ceremonies of the scholars from the Department of Education Region 02 who passed and completed all the requirements of the EXCELS Course on October 24, 2008 at the SPUP Learning Resource Center. The scholars are Principals and School Heads coming from the five provinces of the Region. They were trained online within six weeks and were tasked to submit requirements for evaluation. St. Paul University Philippines is a partner institution of SEAMEO-INNOTECH and two tutors were selected to conduct the online classes namely Dr. Josephine Campañano and Dr. Ma. Teresa A. Maguigad.
Technical Panel for Community Extension Evaluates SPUP's CDC

The Community Development Center of St. Paul University Philippines is one among the Universities and Colleges which applied for the Search for Most Outstanding Extension Program in Region 02. On October 21, 2008, the technical panel for this prestigious search came to the University to evaluate the community extension activities of SPUP in the past five years. The Community Development Center headed by Sister Edna Tagamolila,spc led the team that answered all the questions of the Technical Panel.
Dr. Rodolfo Amistad, the Technical Assistant of CHED pertinent to the Search for Most Outstanding Extension Program accompanied the Technical Panel which was composed of Dr. Virginia Resurreccion as the Chairman and her members namely, Ms. Perla Vissoro, Dr. Manny Tan, and Engr. Caranguian.
Sister Remy Angela Junio,spc, the University President, was present during the evaluation together with some unit heads as well as some recipients of SPUP's community extension projects and programs.
After all questions raised have been answered, the Technical Panel proceeded to Barangay Tagga for a site visit to one of the partner communities of SPUP.
