Paulinian Administrators join CHED’s Republica Awards

Three researches conducted by the SPUP administrators qualified in the 2009 Republica Awards of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 02.
The administrators joined other academicians from Region 02 during the research presentation at the FLVC College of Nursing Function Room, F. L. Vargas College, Bagay Road, Tuguegarao City, on September 22, 2009.
Dr. Ma. Teresa Maguigad, Director of the Center for Professional Development (CPD), presented her research: “A Continuing Professional Education Model for Middle Managers of Higher Education Institutions.” Dr. Madelyn E. Menor, SASTE Program Coordinator, presented “Parents Involvement in the Adolescents Sexuality and Fertility,” which she conducted with Dr. Agripina B. Maribbay, Dr. Jesus B. Pizarro, and Dr. Rosalinda T. Tanguilan. Finally, Dr. Emolyn Iringan, SPUP Research Assistant, presented her research: “A Proposed Program to Foster more Favorable Beliefs/Attitudes Towards Mathematical and Teaching Practices.”
The presenters were coached by Dr. Jesus Pizarro, Director of the Research, Planning and Development Office.
The CHED Republica Awards is held biennially to recognize and reward outstanding research outputs leading to significant advances in priority disciplines and contributing to national development.
