SITE conducts series of I.T. seminars

TO PREPARE THE SENIOR BSIT STUDENTS of the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) for their On-the-Job Training this second semester, SITE sponsored a series of seminars.
Three alumni and two staff shared their expertise, which are deemed essential to graduating students.
On August 31, 2009, Mr. Numeriano Agustin (High School 1991 & BSCIS 1995) conducted a half-day seminar on the Basics of MAYA, a 3D Animation Software. Agustin stressed the right attitude needed in any field of endeavor.
On September 26, 2009 and October 10, 2009, Mr. Israel Palma and Mr. Joseph Bea, SPUP IT staff, lectured and demonstrated on networking installation and computer hardware servicing.
On October 9, 2009, Mrs. Quennie Urani-Wuthrich (High School 1991 & BS Pyschology 1995), a former faculty of SPU Iloilo, and now the Coordinator of the International Relations of Cagayan State University, presented shared tips on face-to-face interview, good grooming and right attitude in the workplace.
On October 20, 2009, Dr. Melquiades Hayag, Doctor in Information Technology (DIT) and SPUP Graduate School professor, tackled Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
