TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

The University provides facilities and equipment for the movement of passengers or goods. Depending on the route and number of clients, the University provides buses, mini-buses and other transportation service to all its constituents. Transportation is used for off campus activities such as retreats, out reach programs immersion programs and other events. The University transportation provides safe, comfortable and speedy transit of the whole academic community.

Procedure for Responding to a Trip Order (for drivers)

  • PURPOSE: To respond to a trip ticket
  • SCOPE: From the time of receipt of a trip ticket to the filing of the accomplished trip ticket
  • PROCEDURE

Dept./ Unit Head Applies to use a University vehicle Dept./ Unit requirements
VP Admin./ Superior Approves trip ticket, assigns Vehicle and driver Vehicle registration form
Secretary/ Clerk Forwards trip ticket to driver VP Admin Office Manual
Driver Prepares vehicle, checks for fitness; reports to area where passengers are to board 5-10 minutes before departure
Security Guard Before exit, checks car condition and notes mileage out; logs vehicle exit.

Upon return from a trip, checks car and notes mileage in.
Driver Returns car to garage, cleans car, fills up status report; submits accomplished form to the Office
Office Assistant Files accomplished and signed Trip form
Driver Performs daily/ scheduled vehicle maintenance

Reports malfunction or trouble if any


File status report; places a "For Repair" note with the date on the steering wheel of the vehicle

If trouble is within his competence, applies immediate preventive or corrective action.

If not, file Job Order (JO) form approved by VP Admin.
Bring to the BAO for signature
Bring to the shop
After repairs are done, removes "For Repair"
