The SPUP library is one of selected institutions in the country, which the Thomas Jefferson Information Center (TJIC) of the U.S. Embassy in Manila has selected to be a depository of information about the United States. The information sources in this collection provides access to print and online publications of U.S. government agencies, including those of the Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Library of Medicine.

Stored in this section of the library are materials on Cagayan, Cagayan Valley and the Cordillera including local history. Rare books, manuscript collections, catalogs, photographs, and posters on the subjects will be collected and stored in this area of the library.
