HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT
St. Paul University Philippines, High School Department is anchored on the mission statement of the Paulinian Education which is total formation of the person into the image of Christ through the harmonious integration of culture and faith. The integration of religious truths and values with the basic concepts and knowledge ensures the fusion of the intellect and the spirit.
Thus, the Paulinian becomes self-directed Catholic Filipino men and women who find fulfillment in the intelligent and responsible leadership in meeting their responsibilities to God, country and fellowmen.
Objectives
The High School graduate of St. Paul University Philippines is expected to be:
- A Christian who understands his Catholic Faith and lives it and witnesses to it in his daily life.
- A Person who realizes that his dignity as a human being is rooted in his being an "image of his Creator" and with this realization, respects the dignity of others, promotes and defends it in all circumstances.
- A Young Man/Woman with a balanced wholesome personality committed to developing his/her potentials and through responsibility, fulfilling his/her duties at home and his community, prepares to take his/her place in society.
- A Filipino who appreciates his cultural heritage and who commits himself/herself to the country's development through involvement in projects and issues at his/her level, geared towards community and nation-building.
- A Paulinian who is warm, simple and appreciative of the finer and nobler things in life, who holds Christian family values of primary importance and who, like St. Paul is motivated by the love of Christ and is "all to all".
- Thus, Paulinian education is committed to the formation of Self-Directed Filipino Men and Women who find fulfillment in intelligent fellowmenship and responsible leadership in meeting their responsibilities to God, country and fellowmen.
